Here, We will learn how to get remainder of two numbers in go. We can get it by using Mod() function in math package in go golang.
Function prototype:
func Mod(x, y float64) float64
Return value:
Mod() function in math package returns
the floating-point remainder of x/y.
Example with code:
package main
import (
"fmt"
"math"
)
func main() {
no := math.Mod(1.2, 3)
fmt.Println(no)
no = math.Mod(2.3, 1)
fmt.Println(no)
no = math.Mod(0.0, -3)
fmt.Println(no)
no = math.Mod(-2.9, 10)
fmt.Println(no)
}
Output:
1.2
0.2999999999999998
0
-2.9
